2016-2017 Pep Band
Pep band will begin in the beginning of November in time to prepare for basketball season in December. If students were in pep band last year they are automatically eligible this year. New students should make an appoint to audition for Mr. Noble. Check back for official dates!
The YMS Band of Pirates is an auditioned group. Students in either 7th or 8th grade will have the opportunity to audition for the pep band in September/October by making an appointment with Mr. Noble. The audition selection is The Star Spangled Banner. Once the band is formed, we will perform at a total of 6 home basketball games- 3 boys and 3 girls. Students will wear their Band of Pirates t-shirt and jeans. The pep band also performs as needed in school assemblies and community events.
